Manor House

Manor House was originally built in 1884. Over the century, its was neglected, the land around it divided and furniture auctioned. Our vision is to provide you with a Walauwa sort of charm with the best luxury services. (The term Walauwa refers to the large country residence of a member of the aristocracy.) During your stay put your feet up on the veranda chairs, take a dip in the pool, relax in the garden and discover the surrounding Kandy neighborhoods.

This traditional century old stately Walauwa furnished with charm and refinement gives you the impression of having arrived at an unique place of history.

• The century old embossed copper ceiling once restored, brought back the original look and feel of the grand mansion.

• Blocks of gold color Granite replaced the stained and grey cement flooring

• 40ft swimming pool, an evening BBQ area and an out-door health & herbal center will be ready by March 2006.

Accommodation
The 4 suites epitomizes the art of luxury living. No Details have been overlooked. Each Suite has it’s own colour and style. Choosing your particular suite or room can be a difficult decision since each of them have their own identity. But rest assured that it is impossible to be disappointed at the Manor House. It may be the oldest of homes, but we haven’t overlooked any of the modern facilities. Facilities include hot water, wireless high speed internet from anywhere, swimming pool, BBQ area, air conditioning and telephones connecting rooms.
