Sinharaja Rain Forest

The lush Sinharaja Forest is the oldest and the only virgin rain forest in the island, is a nature lovers paradise and a "World Heritage Site". Approximately 11,330 hectares in extent, and filled with rare species of trees and plants, the forest offers visitors an intersting encounter with endemic birds, butterflies, reptiles, lizards, etc.
