Bandos Island Resort

Location: Bandos is a beautiful coral island with a total land area of 178,900 square meters, covered with lush tropical vegetation, numerous palm trees, surrounded by a wide sandy beach and the crystal clear waters of an azure lagoon. The island owns one of the best house reefs, just 40 – 60 meters away from the beach. Opened on 10th December 1972 as the second tourist resort in the Maldives with 225 rooms.

Accommodation: There are 3 different room types; Standard, Junior Suite and Suite, all air-conditioned, attached bath rooms with hot and cold water, IDD Telephones and Digital Safes. Junior Suites and Suites have a separate sitting area and a bath tub. TV and tea / coffee making facilities are available in Suite rooms. Bandos has the widest range of sports facilities available anywhere in the country.

Facilities: Relax and enjoy all that's on offer with the thought that there is a Medical Center on Bandos with a doctor on call 24 hours, ensure you with your medical needs should it raise. The clinic has a 4-man decompression chamber, the only one in the Atoll.

Sports & Leisure: Windsurfing, catamaran sailing, banana boat riding, water - skiing and parasailing can simply be had off the beach. You are entertained to tennis, squash, badminton, workout, aerobics and a variety of board games at the Paradise Club sports complex. After a session of your choice, treat your self to a therapeutic massage and a steam bath.
