Location: The Nilaveli Beach Hotel, about 10km north of Trincomalee, is a fine hotel on the eastern coast of Sri Lanka. The beautiful east coast beaches are most glorious from April to October, but Nilaveli offers a striking all year-round stretch of beach.  The journey from Colombo will take approximately 7 hours via Habarana.

Accommodation: 80 comfortably furnished rooms are categorized as Standard air conditioned, and non air conditioned sea view rooms, Deluxe Rooms and Luxury Suites. The attached bathrooms have hot water showers, washbasin, and w/c. All rooms have overhead fans and private patios overlooking the sun kissed beaches and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

Sports & Leisure: Swimming pool with sliding board, PADI Center for hiring snorkeling equipment, boat excursions, diving expeditions and fishing trips. Pigeon Island, a breeding site for Blue Rock Pigeon, is located just a 10 minute boat ride offshore from the Nilaveli Beach Hotel and is an ideal location for half-day snorkeling excursions. The waters around Trincomalee are also famous for Whale watching with more than 12 different species including the Common Blue Whale, Bryde's Whale and the Sperm Whale inhabiting these waters.
