Day 1 Colombo
Arrive at Colombo International Airport, Katunayake. Meet, assist & transfer to Colombo.
Rest of morning at leisure. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Colombo.

Day 2 Sigiriya
After breakfast at hotel leave for Sigiriya.
Afternoon climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Afterward return to hotel.

Day 3 Sigiriya
After breakfast at hotel leave for Polonnaruwa.
Arrive in Polonnaruwa. Commence on a sightseeing tour. Return to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4 Dambulla / Kandy
Breakfast at hotel. Morning leave for Dambulla.
Arrive in Dambulla visit the rock cave temple. Afterward continue drive to Kandy. Enroute visit a spice garden and a Batik factory at Matale. Check in at hotel in Kandy. Late afternoon visit the temple of the sacred tooth relic of "the Buddha" and also view a cultural dance performance.

Day 5 Kandy
After breakfast commence on a city tour of Kandy - the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings. The name Kandy conjures visions of a storied past, splendour, legend, folklore, mystery and traditions lovingly kept alive for countless years. Visit a Gem lapidary. Also, visit the botanical gardens in Peradeniya, which was originally the pleasure gardens of the royalty. Nearly 4000 species of plants are found in this garden and it is encircled by the Mahaweli river.

Day 6 Pinnawela / Nuwara-Eliya
After breakfast leave for Kegalle and visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Afterward proceed to Nuwara Eliya, enroute visiting a tea plantation and a factory. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country producing 50% of the world's best tea. Visit the Hakgala Botanical Gardens, the golf course, the hill club and the market place and drive around this hill station viewing Lake Gregory.Sri Lanka's highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 ft) is located here. Nuwara Eliya is the location for one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in Asia. Evening at leisure.

Day 7 Nuwara-Eliya / Horton Plains
Breakfast at hotel. Early morning leave the hotel for an excursion to Horton Plains, the highest plateau in Sri Lanka, a strict nature reserve. Return to Nuwara-Eliya.

Day 8 Beach Resort
After breakfast commence on a sightseeing tour of Nuwara-Eliya. Visit the Hakgala Botanical Gardens, the golf course, the hill club and the market place and drive around this hill station viewing Lake Gregory.Leave for your beach stay in a resort in Bentota or Beruwela or an Ayurvedic resort in Wadduwa. Enroute via Kitugala - where the famous film “bridge on the river kwai”.was filmed.
