Location: Equator Village offers its guests a new and exciting experience of The Maldives.  Located just half a degree below the equator, it lies 450km away from Hulhule ( Male’ Airport). It takes 90  minutes from the airport to Gan Island by domestic aircraft and 5 minutes by vehicle to the resort. This lush, tree-filled island of Gan was used by the British as an air force and naval outpost from 1956 to 1976. The handsome building which now houses the reception, bar and restaurant was originally an officers club and the large guest rooms were once accommodation to high-ranking officers.

Accommodation: 78 Double rooms arranged among mature bougainvillea trees, hibiscus and even rose bushes. All are equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, Hot & cold water, and outside sitting area.
