Location: Moofushi is situated in the western part of the Ari atoll near the channel where the sea enters the lagoon. The island is around 65 nautical miles from the capital Male and to reach it by seaplane takes 25 minutes from the airport. The island is very small: it takes less than ten minutes walking along the beach to cover the perimeter of the entire island.

Accommodation:  62 rooms consisting of 45 Bungalows on the beach surrounded by trees and shrubbery and 17 Water Bungalows with private steps into the water from the veranda, connected to the island by a wooden walkway.  The architectural style of the buildings is simple and typically Maldivian, fully respecting the surrounding natural environment. All the rooms are air conditioned, and have ceiling fans, mini Bars, desalinated hot and cold water, beach towels and telephones.

Facilities: The island has two restaurants: a main restaurant and a small à la carte restaurant with a few tables under the stars called "La Bouganville".The main restaurant offers a buffet breakfast, buffet lunch, and dinner served at your table. There are two bars on the island.

Sports & Leisure: Diving - Moofushi's scuba centre organises diving for experts in over twenty diving points and PADI certificate courses for beginners and non-beginners. The centre's instructors and divemaster guides are Italian and Maldivian. The other activities are accompanied Snorkeling trips. Water Sports such as canoeing & Kayaking, aqua gym lessons. Excursions such as fishing trips, Dhoni trip to a fisherman’s island or a desert island, watching the sunset from a boat. Beach Volleyball games are organized. Entertainment -  includes aperitifs on the beach, games evenings, piano bar evenings and a disco. Massage - On Moofushi you can book massage therapy at the massage centre. The massage technique used by the centre is Indonesian and the therapists are from Bali. There are various massages available, including both body and face treatments.
