Overnight in Colombo
This morning you will enjoy a round of golf at the Royal Colombo Golf Club.
Surrounded by residential areas and business establishments, the Royal Colombo Golf Club is a sanctuary situated in the heart of Colombo, Sri Lanka. In contrast to its surroundings, it is an exquisite and tranquil environment to relax, unwind and tee off.
Afterwards you will head back to your hotel and later in the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Colombo.
Colombo is a city with a rich history. Known to the Greeks, Arabs, and Chinese for over 2000 years because of its natural harbour and as a centre of trade, it was colonised by the Portuguese, the Dutch, and then the British between 1505 and 1948. Each colonial power left a distinctive mark and contributed greatly to the character of the city.
Amazing Pettah district still has the energy like in the late nineteenth century when the streets were teeming with ox carts and alive with the sounds and whiffs of the sea, as rubber, tea, cinnamon, kittul treacle, rope and peacocks were loaded aboard ships.
Overnight in Colombo
This morning after breakfast you, you will proceed to your hotel in the hill capital - Kandy.
En route you will stop to visit the Pinnewala Elephant Orphanage. Set up by the Sri Lankan government to safeguard one of its national treasures and now a popular tourist attraction, Pinnewala Elephant Orphanage looks after orphaned calves and rehabilitates injured elephants. Today the orphanage is home to more than 60 elephants and twice a day they are led to the nearby river for bathing.
Proceed to your hotel in Kandy and later afternoon you will head to a local hall to watch a show of traditional Sri Lankan music, dance and drumming. Afterwards you’ll visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, known locally as Sri Dalada Maligawa, the most sacred temple in the whole of Sri Lanka. This important shrine boasts intricate carvings and beautiful Sri Lankan art. During the evening ‘puja’ throngs of pilgrims visit the temple to line up to glimpse the golden casket said to hold the sacred relic and to make offerings of flowers.
Overnight in Kandy
After breakfast proceed to the Victoria Golf Club for a round of Golf.
The award winning Donald Steel designed masterpiece sprawled amongst the hills and bordering the Victoria reservoir offers the most picturesque scenery and breath taking views of nature.
On completion you will transfer to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
En route you will stop at a tea factory and tea plantation where you will have the opportunity to learn more about the tea making process and the different grades of tea.
Located in the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country at an elevation of 1900m, Nuwara Eliya was a favoured retreat of the British in the19th Century thanks to its cool climate. With an abundance of red and green roofed plantation bungalows, English country style homes, a fine 18 hole golf course and a racecourse, the town still has a decidedly British feel. The surrounding mountain slopes and valleys are carpeted with lush green tea plantations, interspersed with gushing streams and tumbling waterfalls.
Overnight in Nuwara Eliya
This morning you will enjoy a round of golf at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club.
Founded in 1889, is one of the oldest golf clubs in Asia and probably the world. It is an institution, rich in tradition, history and carries an ambience unparalleled in this country.
Afterwards you will head back to Colombo for your final night in Sri Lanka. En-route you will visit the Hakgala Botanical Gardens.

Today you will check out from your hotel and drive to Colombo airport for your onward flight.
