DAY 01

Destination : Colombo.                                                                                              Drive : Approximately 1 Hour (31 km)

Warmly welcoming you to our precious island our representative shall look into all the immediate requirements and will introduce you to your dedicated chauffeur to be transferred to Colombo.

Once you check in you may spend the rest of the day at leisure or take a city tour around the Commercial Capital Colombo.

DAY 02

Destination : Ratnapura.                                                                                          Drive : Approximately 3 Hours (101 km)

The tour officially begins after a wonderful breakfast and then heading towards the city of gems known as Rathnapura.
The soil of Ratnapura is rich with precious and semi-precious stones, some of which has made its way to royal palaces and monuments of great value. A visit to this city of gems is a must for any visitor. It is a city set amidst a mix of paddy fields, rubber and tea plantations which give a scenic backdrop to this legendary city of a thousand gems.

Destination : Sinharaja.                                                                                            Drive : Approximately 2 Hours (63 km)

Continue to Sinharaja Forest Reserve, it is the least disturbed and biologically unique lowland rain forest remaining in Sri Lanka. It is a treasure trove of endemic species including trees, insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. Because of the dense vegetation wildlife is not as easily seen as at dry zone national parks as Yala. Bird watching is particularly interesting as it is home to 95% of the endemic birds of Sri Lanka.

DAY 03

Destination : Udawalawe.                                                                                         Drive :  Approximately 3 hours (130 km)

After breakfast leave for Udawalawe. UDAWALAWE NATIONAL PARK lies south of the central hills in the island's dry zone. An important eco-tourism destination, the Park consists of dry lowland forest, riverine forest, thorny scrublands and grasslands. One special attraction of the park is the Udawalawe reservoir and the Walawe River which flows through the park. It is most famous for the many elephants that live in the park. Besides the elephants it is also home to water buffalo, spotted & barking deer, wild boar, sambar, jackals, mongoose and more. Though the leopard, jungle & fishing cats have been spotted in the park sightings are very rare. This fascinating park is also a great location for bird enthusiasts.

DAY 04

Destination :  Udawalawe.                                                                                        Drive :  Approximately ½ an Hour (25 km)

After breakfast, enjoy a second jeep safari in the Udawalawe National Park.

Destination : Yala.                                                                                                      Drive :  Approximately 3 ½ Hours (127 km)

Afterward leave for Yala. In the afternoon commence a jeep safari in the Yala National Park by private jeep accompanied by a tracker.

DAY 05

Destination : Yala.                                                                                                      Drive : N/A

After breakfast get ready for an AM & PM jeep safari in the Yala National Park.

Yala National park is one of Sri Lanka’s premier eco tourist Destinations and is renowned for its variety of wildlife notably its many Elephants. It is also home to the Spotted Deer, Sambar, Wild Buffalo, Sloth Bear, Jackal, Mongoose and Crocodiles. The Peacock is easily the most famous of the birds in this park. Yala has a high concentration of Leopards although seeing these nocturnal carnivores still requires some luck.

DAY 06

Destination : Yala.                                                                                                     Drive  :  N/A

After breakfast enjoy another day full of wild animals, with an AM and PM Jeep safari in the Yala National Park

DAY 07

Destination :  Nuwara Eliya.                                                                                     Drive :  Approximately 4 ½ Hours (192km)

After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya En route visit Rawana Waterfalls, a sight to behold with a scenic backdrop of mountains and valleys. It is featured in the Rawana mythology, where Sita is said to have bathed from this waterfall while she was in captivity,

The beautiful town of Nuwara Eliya, set in the heart of Tea country and situated 1890 meters above sea level, is where the British succeeded in creating an English countryside with homes in styles from Georgian to Queen Anne.

DAY 08

Destination :  Horton Plains.                                                                                   Drive :  Approximately 1 ½ Hour (30 km)

Feasting on an early breakfast, we shall be leaving for Horton Plains as our next destination, which is the highest plateau of the country and a significant national park due to its rich and unique bio diversity. Apart from being one of the best locations for bird watching the plains are famous for the escarpment that falls 880 meters to the lowlands of the southern region of the island. Aptly known as the "World’s End" the view from the precipice of the countryside below towards the south coast is spectacular.

DAY 09

Destination :  Colombo.                                                                                            Drive :  N/A

After breakfast drive through the commercial and city centre known as the "Fort", built by the Portuguese in the 16th century where grand colonial era buildings stand alongside modern office structures. See the vibrant markets and bazaars of Pettah, and the National Museum with its fine collection of lovely antiques and art of Sri Lanka. You could visit a Buddhist temple and a Hindu Kovil to experience the diversity of religion, ethnicity and customs of the people. Alternatively you may indulge in some shopping.

DAY 10

Destination : Airport.                                                                                               Drive : Approximately 1 Hour (35km)

Now that you are at the end of your journey with us, after breakfast your chauffeur will comfortably take you to the international airport in time for your departure flight.
