Day one kicks off at a base camp in Kitulgala, where you will master the paddling techniques and safety measures on the Kelani river. After a peaceful night’s rest, you will head to Mahaweli and embark on the main adventure.
Over the next few days, immerse in the serene wilderness of a remote part of Sri Lanka paddling your way across the gentle waters surrounded by the chirps of birds and the sounds of swinging monkeys. As sun begins to set, set up camp, gather wood for a campfire to keep the lingering elephants at bay and sit in for a splendid dinner under the stars.
Your journey concludes in the cultural triangle near Polonnaruwa, where you will step in to the heart of Sri Lanka’s culture and heritage one-of-a-kind of a kind adventure combines the thrill of camping, the serenity of nature and the cultural richness, making it an experience of a lifetime.
