Get acquainted with Peru’s Capital City, its 2000 years of history and colonial heritage. Experience the artistic traditions and contemporary lives of its residents. Tour Lima’s Historical Center, cultural heritage of humanity according to UNESCO, and admire its imposing Cathedral. Visit Casa Aliaga, America’s best preserved colonial mansion, occupied by the same family since 1535. Continue to San Francisco Monastery, a masterpiece of colonial architecture housing important colonial paintings. Finally drive through the residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro where you will enjoy a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean and its beaches before returning to your hotel.

HD BALLESTAS ISLANDS
Lima / Paracas / Nazca

Very early in the morning transfer to Paracas, located approximately four hours away from Lima. At your arrival to the dock take a boat ride to the Ballestas Islands, inhabited by boobies, pelicans, sea lions and Humboldt penguins. The boat will also make a stop in front of the peninsula to view the unexplained figures of the Candelabro Lines. Continue your trip to Nazca.

In the morning take a a high-wing light aircraft over the desert and the mysterious Nazca Lines, also known as the Nazca Markings. These lines can only be appreciated from the air. Made centuries ago, the reason for their existence remains a mystery. After your overflight visit Chauchilla, a pre Inca cementery, an antique burial place. Continue your trip Arequipa.

HD AREQUIPA CITY TOUR: “THE WHITE CITY”
Arequipa

Visit the Historic Center of Arequipa, Unesco World Heritage Site, built mostly with a local sillar, a pale volcanic rock, affording Arequipa its glorious architecture and its appropriate nickname, "the White City". Admire its Plaza de Armas and Cathedral, before visiting the Convent of Santa Catalina, one of the most beautiful in Arequipa, and founded on October 2nd, 1580, built during the second half of that century. With an area of 20,000 square meters, the Convent is a city in miniature, a walled fortress with streets, passageways, stairways and plazas. Closed to the public until 1970, the Convent still houses a number of the closed order of nuns. Continue to visit the Jesuit Church, where you will be impressed by the beauty of its facade, considered the best example of the mestizo baroque style in Arequipa. The ancient vestry is particularly beautiful with its cupola and walls covered in murals representing the jungle. The ancient Jesuit seminary is famous for its beautiful principal cloister. Finally go to the residential districts of Yanahuara and Chilina, from where you will have a magnificent view of Arequipa’s countryside and Mount Misti volcano.

02 DAY TRIP TO COLCA

Early morning departure for a two day overland trip to the Colca Valley.

Drive across Pampa Cañahuas within the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, the habitat of herds of vicuñas. Admire beautiful pre-Columbian terraces still being cultivated by native Collaguas. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant on the route

COLCA & THE CONDORS CROSS
Colca / Puno

Early departure to "Condors' Cross", observation point from where you can view these great Andean birds. Impressive panorama of the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world (3,000 mts/ 9,800 ft). Enjoy your lunch at Casa Andina Colca. In the afternoon, ride to Puno across the Peruvian high plateau. Enjoy the magnificent view of clear blue skies and unusual highland vegetation, known as Ichu. Upon arrival, accommodation at your hotel.

FD EXCRUSION TO UROS & TAQUILE ISLANDS
Puno

Enjoy a complete day of sailing in Titicaca Lake, the highest navigable lake in the world. Depart early in the morning for the floating islands of Uros, where the inhabitants still live as they did centuries ago, on floating islands they make with the totora reeds that grow on the lake. Continue sailing towards Taquile Island for a 30 minute, hike towards its small town inhabited by Quechua speaking natives who have, over the generations, developed both an efficient and original social system as well as a refined handweaving technique.

Lunch will be served in a local house that serves as a restaurant. After lunch we will explore the island and you can appreciate the magnificent views of Lake Titicaca. After this trekking will embark and return to Puno city.

TRIP TO CUSCO
Puno / Cusco

Transfer to the bus station to take a touristic bus towards Cusco. Bus ride to Cusco along the dramatic landscapes of the highland plateau, only spotted by little andean villages and herds of llamas and vicuna.We will stop at the archaeological site of Pukara (200BC-AD300) as well as in Raqchi an Inca temple built to worship Wiracocha, one of the most important Inca gods.Finally we will stop at Andahuaylillas,a beautiful baroque church built at the beginning of the XVIIth century and very well-known thanks to its beautifu mural paintings. We will have lunch on a restaurant en route.

HD CITY TOUR AT CUSCO
Cusco

We take a tour of the city, starting out at the Santo Domingo convent monastery. This former Colonial monastery was previously the Koricancha temple, one of the most important temples devoted to worship of the sun. According to the chronicles, it was covered in gold Leaf and filled with golden representations of nature. Also included in the tour are stop at the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral. After touring the most interesting sites of the city, you will be driven to the countryside outside Cusco to visit some of the remarkable Inca ruins in the area. Included are the cult center of Sacsayhuaman, the temple and amphitheater of Kenko, and the Red Fortress of Puca Pucara.

MANCHU PICCHU: "LOST CITY OF THE INCAS"
Cusco / Manchu Picchu / Cusco

In the morning you will be transferred to Ollantaytambo station to board the train towards Manchu Picchu. Upon arrival to the station you will take a 25 minute motor-coach to "The Lost City of the Incas", which was discovered by the American explorer Hiram Bingham in 1911. Enjoy a guided tour of the marvelous citadel, a unique awe-inspiring experience. Lunch will be served at the luxury Sanctuary Lodge Restaurant. In the afternoon you will take your train back to Ollantaytambo station. After arrival transfer to your hotel at Cusco.

4D / 3N ECO AMAZONIA

When you arrive at the Ecoamazonia Lodge, you will be served an exquisite welcome drink, after which you will have time to settle in your bingalows and eat lunch. In the afternoon with our specalized guide, you will vsit Monkey Island, which is only 5 minuites from the lodge. During your hike through the island you will observe extraordinary scenery and exuberant flora that shelters a tremendous variety of monkeys in their natural habitat, such as a Black Spider Monkey, Capuchin Monkey, Tamarins, Squirrel Monkeys and the South American Coati as well as a number of bird species. Youi will complete your visit to Monkey Island by enjoying the sunset and then returning to the lodge for dinner.

ECO AMAZONIA
Puerto Maldonado

After breakfast you begin your guided adventure through the virgin rainforest on foot to the Lost Cocha. The Lost Cocha is a protected ecosystem sustaining an immense variety of animals such as giant otters, caimans, turtles, Brazilian tapirs "sachavacas", colorful birds, the majestic jaguar, and diverse fish species. This area is a unique part of the Ecoamazonia Reserve, because its immense swamps and marshes still remain fully intact today. Later, you will arrive at our extraordinary Amazon Watch Tower, built at the top of an immense tree (the Shihuahuaco) from which you can appreciate the full and magical beauty of the rainforest. You will also go for a pleasant canoe ride around the lake, after which you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon there is another canoe trip down the river to visit a local family living in the rainforest. Finally, you will return to the lodge for dinner.

ECO AMAZONIA
Puerto Maldonado

You start the day with breakfast, and then begin another trip through the magical rainforest navigating down the Madre de Dios River to the path that leads to the Gamitana and Briolo rivers. These rivers are born from the innermost virgin forest forming impressive serpentive channels, through which you will travel by canoe while appreciating animals at only an arm's length. You will also have the opportunity to fish and swim in the crystallinewaters of the Gamitana River.

Finally, you will return to the Lodge for dinner.
PUERTO MALDONADO / LIMA

Breakfast. Boat ride back to the city. Transfer by bus to the airport. After you arrive to Lima transfer to your hotel.
